Paper parasites.
Damaged canvas
Severe attack by paper-parasitic insects called Psocoptera.
Immediately treated with special lamps to eradicate them
it was possible to save part of the image, although severely compromised.
Canvas attached to cardboard, eaten by mold
no longer usable.

A completely conservative restoration was carried out, reconstructing only the profile of the lost part to convey the shape of the work when it was intact.
